According to the 2012 US Bicycling &amp; Walking Benchmarking Report, South Carolina is the second most unsafe state in the nation for bicycling.   We will pass out armbands prior to the ride and we will start right at 7pm with our police escort. Please arrive early to get your armband and be ready to start at 7pm.  Here's the ride information.  Ride of Silence Wed. May 16th 7pm Wells Fargo downtown parking lot 10 miles at 12 mph max. in total silence. We ride single file on main roads with police in front and back.

Just in case anyone would like to join me I plan to be at the track at 6pm and run some drills until 7:30pm or 8pm. My wife Jess has volunteered to run the stop watch.  I am planning on doing some held starts and getting some times for the events that are being run during Thursday night's races just to get an idea where I am at.

                        I don't know if Chris Zacho is still a member of the RHBC but he has previously  participated in club functions. Chris left his home in Chester on February 26, pointed his bicycle West and arrived in Los Angeles on May 6. After visiting with family Chris plans to ride North to San Francisco before returning to Chester by way of the Western Express, TransAm, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you are interested in following his ride you can do so at www.crazyguyonabike.com. His journal is entitled the Great American Double Cross.

Chris left his home in Chester on February 26, pointed his bicycle West and arrived in Los Angeles on May 6. After visiting with family Chris plans to ride North to San Francisco before returning to Chester by way of the Western Express, TransAm, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.                         NO! its not my ticket, I'm climbing that sucker!  But I have been seeing a lot of tickets available on other forums. Here is one that is available just email this person:  msiskrob@bellsouth.net  I have seen other tix so if anyone needs help in finding a ticket please let me know. FYI the ride is Monday May 21 leaving Spartanburg @ 6:30 A.M.

                        Due to calendar limitations- We have 4 rides on Saturday that cannot all be listed; the only change is the addition to the Mayor's Ride. I will ask all ride leaders to please incorporate the Mayor's Ride when planning their routes.  8 am Breakfast Ride 10 am Frank's Ride  10 am RHBS Ride 1 pm Mayor's Ride
