Thought you might like to know about a new Mediterranean restaurant in town. Its fabulous and in my quest for great ethnic food, I find this right at the top.
Really? Perhaps it has improved? Sorry - don't mean to be negative. I was excited to hear about this restaurant but when Kim -the dog- Deacon and I tried it soon after the grand opening, we were disappointed. The food seemed to be bland, Americanized versions of Mediterranean offerings. And the place was cold!! Like maybe the heat wasn't working or something. But perhaps the owner hadn't hit his stride yet. Has anyone else tried it? Give me a reason to give them another shot. There is nothing I like more than good food!
Gary and I went about 2 weeks ago - it was "okay". I would not make a special trip there again, but I'd go back if I was in the neighborhood. I LOVE Mediterranean food!
Michael's grill on Charlotte is consistently good. T's on Main has good food but the place would do well with a good cleaning. It looks like something new is going in on Cherry across from CVS but I'm not sure what - looking forward to finding out.
The RH restaurant scene is disappointing. Cooking at home is necessary if one wants to eat well in this town. I would love to see more places of Charlotte's caliber here!
